Calling Timberlea home with her Husband Kenny, their little boy Tate and a new arrival due in June 2016,  Heidi has a passion for running and has competed in several marathons over the past few years with a goal  to one day participate in the New York City Marathon.  

A graduate of Dalhousie University, her calming demeanor and educational approach make her an ideal member of our team in providing a great experience each and every visit for those of all ages.

Amanda B.

Scheduling coordinator

Like several other members of our staff,  Amanda grew up in our community and made her way through the B.L.T  school system before becoming a graduate of Sir John. A Macdonald High School.  
Someone who brings a refreshing, enthusiastic and welcoming personality every single day to the office both over the phone and arrival at our clinic, Amanda is a perfect representative of our team approach in which our entire staff takes great pride.
Outside of the office for the past 10+ years  you can regularly find her teaching piano lessons to those of all ages,  snapping pictures with her photography skills or relaxing at the family cottage during the summer months.  

Jenelle S.P

registered dental assistant (RDA)

Born and raised in Timberea, Jenelle came up through the BLT schooling system, which led her through Sir John A Macdonald High School and most recently, she became a graduate of the NSCC Dental Assisting program. Jenelle adds a very professional, enthusiastic dynamic to our team and prides herself on creating a relaxed environment for patients during each visit to our office.  
​Away from Timberlea Dental, Jenelle enjoys surrounding herself with friends, family , her husband Brandon and first addition to the family expected in June 2016.    Along with those mentioned above, quality time with her cats Milo, Max, Mia and Mischief show just a small indication of her love of animals.   *Currently On Maternity Leave*

Jessica s.

A resident of HRM, Jessica joins Timberlea Dental with high recommendations of her work with Dr. Legere over the past several years.  A graduate of Dental Assisting in 2010, she brings an energetic and friendly demeanor to help each patient feel comfortable in all situations. Outside of the office, she has spent 14+ years training and competing in the art of Taekwon-Do. Jessica also enjoys passing along her skills, teaching the art to younger kids at her father's Taekwon-Do Dojang.

matthew Bracegirdle

Practice Manager

Currently residing in HRM with his wife Laura, Matthew maintains a practice philosophy that encourages the relationship in which "a healthy lifestyle leads to a healthy body". He believes a patient's role in dental treatment is a collaborative one, working together with the dentists and the dental hygienists to prevent future problems. Matthew has thrived in previous management roles in business, as well as in the local Jr. hockey management scene. An avid fitness enthusiast, who in his spare time coaches people with their fitness and nutritional goals. He enjoys participating and following a variety of sports. Traveling with his wife, spending time with family, and a love for coffee round out his list of favorite things.

Dr. Ryan Legere

Doctor Of Dental Surgery (DDS)

Dr. Legere is proud to call Timberlea home. Growing up he went through the BLT school system, followed by his time as a Student Athlete at Sir John A Macdonald High School.  A current resident in the community with his wife Jennifer, he is honored to have the opportunity to open a dental practice in his own backyard.  Ryan is a graduate of Dalhousie University where he obtained his Doctor in Dental Surgery in 2009. Treating patients as if they are family, his personality and pain free approach allows patients to feel at ease, free of anxiety and have an enjoyable experience during every visit. A loyal sports fan, with hockey and college football close to his heart, he to this day has been heavily involved in the local Jr. hockey scene on various levels and takes pride in giving back to the sport that played a large role in his life.

LIndsay a.

registered dental hygienist  (rdh)

Originally from PEI, Lindsay now resides in Tantallon with her husband & 2 kids. A graduate from the University of Prince Edward Island and Oulton College, Lindsay has been practicing dental hygiene since 2008. Her gentle approach focuses on patient comfort and alleviating fears, in addition to providing exceptional oral care for each and every patient.

Her interests include spending time with family, traveling and cheering on her favorite sports teams.  *Currently On Maternity Leave*

Dr. Ryan Lum-Tai

DOCTOR OF DENTAL SURGERY (DDS)

Originally from Toronto, Ryan completed dental school at Western University in London, Ontario.  He then moved to Halifax to pursue additional training  at Dalhousie University where he completed a General Practice Residency.  Dr. Lum-Tai now resides with his wife in downtown Halifax, and is very excited to be a member of the Timberlea Dental Centre team.  Ryan strives to put his patients first while providing the highest level of care.  Outside of dentistry, Ryan enjoys playing guitar, skiing, and traveling as some of his favorite hobbies.

Dr. Jeff Clarke

Doctor Of Dental Surgery (DDS)

Dr. Clarke was born and raised in Timberlea and is a proud graduate of the B.L.T and Sir John A School systems.  Jeff completed his Bachelor of Science at St Mary's and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhouise in 2011.  A strong believer in the practice philosophy of treating families as if they were his own, and strives to provide comfortable, comprehensive and compassionate care for his patients.   Outside of the practice, Jeff can be found on the golf course during the summer months and in the rinks over the winter, either with his own teams or with his son.  Dr. Clarke is extremely excited to have the opportunity to practice in his home town and along side his childhood friend and now colleague Dr. Ryan Legere.
